Prosperity, Part 5

Hi, thank you for reading my mini series on prosperity. This is the conclusion. The links to the other four parts are:

Part 1

Part 2

Part 3

Part 4

What is the point to prosperity if we can make do with what we have? Being grateful for what we have is absolutely crucial, but does not prevent a new dream from happening. Go ahead and be happy where you are right now, give thanks for what you do have while you know that something even grander is on the way.

It might not be that new car, but it could be a trip of a lifetime where you meet the love of your life. After that, give thanks for that fabulous experience and know that even more amazing things are coming your way. It is ok to be prosperous. In fact, when one is prosperous it shines a light for others to follow in your footsteps. It shows people that: “Hey, I did not have to do anything illegal to live my dream, just follow my heart”.

It blesses you with options that were not available to you before. Many people believe that poverty makes them pious, but what can they do about the child who is starving and sick when they themselves are coming from a place of lack? What can a parent do about providing the best education for their children if they are coming from place of lack and believe in their scarcity? How can they afford to move from a possible crime ridden neighborhood where everyone is scared to walk the streets to a neighborhood where everyone is friendly, and it is safe for your child to get to know the other kids and excel in school?

Prosperity provides options. Prosperity does not make you happy, but it does allow you to live out your dreams and shine the light on others. God is abundant and there is always enough for everyone. If you are prosperous, that does not mean that you are taking away from anyone else. Everyone can have their heart’s desire on this planet with plenty left over.

Ok, this is the final topic of interest that I would like to point out, and it’s a big one. The topic is the actual spending of money. What type of feeling do you emit when you sign that check and hand over that cash?

Is it one of “Well, there goes that, I guess I need to work some overtime”? When ever money is spent it provides jobs. Not only the cashier at the grocery store, but the jobs of people that we never see.

How does your product become packaged or picked? How do you receive your power? Think about it, you’re not just handing over money, you’re allowing for others to prosper as well. You are keeping the cycle of money going. How can it help others if you are hoarding it? If you think you have less each time you hand over that bill and that God is not replenishing your stock that is scarcity thinking. God says yes to scarcity thinking too. If you know that there is more coming that allows for the gates of prosperity to stay open. Give thanks for being able to keep money in circulation. That same dollar bill helps many many people while it circulates. Think about all of the good it is doing while it is out there.

Sure save money in a nice account, and give thanks for that too; but bless the money that leaves your hands, and it will attract more to you than you ever imagined if that blessing is felt deep in your heart. With this last line, I say adieu and I give thanks for those that are drawn to this article and are helped by its words. The words may be my own but they are inspired by That Which Is Greater Than Myself. Thank you for reading, and if there is any other topic of interest please feel free to let me know.

To your prosperity,

Prosperity – Part 4

Hi, thank you for reading this mini series on Prosperity, If you missed parts 1, 2, and 3 click on these links:

Part 1

Part 2

Part 3

Now, welcome to part 4:

As stated before, prosperity is an energy that can be channeled or directly attracted or repelled. If you feel prosperous, and you are thankful for what you have including the small items – you are attracting more prosperity.  So the question is how much prosperity are you allowing in?

Many people grow up with scarcity training. ‘“Money doesn’t grow on trees”’ is a famous line. I heard this as well as ‘“that’s too expensive”’ and ‘“we don’t have the money”’ constantly. I also heard ‘“look at how hard your poor father is working, you should be grateful.”’ The one that stung the worst was when I was asked to make out my Christmas list, and I was told that I was being greedy and selfish.

Needless to say, I was programmed with the thoughts that very hard work was necessary for money and there’s never enough money. I also grew up with the teaching that if you bought something new before the old one broke, you were wasting money, especially for new appliances and cars.

Another main critical issue is that it is only ok to study something that is going to be lucrative. It did not matter if another field of study was fun and exciting. The questions were: ‘“What are you going to do with that?”’ and ‘“Can you make any money with that?”’

Now, I know that I was not the only one who grew up like this. I, like a huge percentage of the population, grew up with similar ideals and training as well.

The question that remains today is “What are we going to do about it?” and “How can we change our subconscious programming concerning money.”

How much are we allowing in? I believed that I would be taken care of by God and thanked God over and over again for taking care of me. I was provided a roof over my head, furniture, food, a car to drive and an education that taught me to think for myself.

I believe that all of these things are necessities. What else may I include on the list as necessities; how, about the opportunity to explore life and splash up my clothing, car and home with elements of myself and beauty? If these extra things are viewed as necessities in life, and you have the belief that God will provide for you, then yes, you will have these things.

It’s not so much that God will give to you whatever you ask, as it is that God will bestow upon you whatever you believe that He/She will. So, how much are your beliefs allowing God to bless you or not?

Life is not meant to be a tedious monotony of chores to barely be able to make ends meet. It’s an opportunity for Spirit to play and experience in a physical form. Spirit wants to know itself and experience itself as the Creator that It is, so that is why we are here.

We are God’s body in physical form. Each of us is a different aspect or an individual part of God endowed with gifts and talent. If we are all a part of God, then how can God not give to Him or Her Self whatever is requested? Would God deny Him/Her Self?

God gives whatever is asked and answers every prayer with a yes. If the subconscious believes that scarcity is what is needed and proper then God says yes to that scarcity and so we go without. If the subconscious believes yes to an abundant life style, then God says yes to that abundant life style. There is a requirement however, but it is not painful or requires sacrificing in any way. It does require getting to know what you truly desire.

If a new cell phone is on your list of things to purchase, examine the reason behind the desire. Is it because everyone else who is anyone has that cell phone, or is it because that cell phone would seem like fun or maybe make your life a bit easier? If the answer is because everyone has one, and you want to look cool with that new gadget then more than likely not a true heart’s desire.

However, if it is a new gadget that seems like fun and you truly want one or if you could truly envision yourself able to accomplish your work more smoothly then by all means this phone is for you. Do you believe that? Really?

If you can taste it, feel it, and know that it would be great to have whatever the item is because you desire it from the bottom of your heart then yes, it will find a legitimate way to you. Who knows, it might even go on sale – what a concept. Who knows what could happen, perhaps a gift from a friend might come your way. The point is that you have to know what you really want and what is just for show? God cares nothing about show, but if something is a heart’s desire then yes, the answer is always yes.

Thank  you again for reading, and as always, take in what you can and leave the rest. I promise I won’t be offended.

Part 3 – Prosperity

Thank you for continuing to read the series on Prosperity. My desire is for this writing to inspire new revelations and understanding concerning money and prosperity for those who are seeking and ready for the next step in their lives. Take  in and absorb what you can and leave the rest.  For those of you returning for this part, I hope you have enjoyed what you have read so far. This is the third section. Part 1 linkPart 2 link

It is possible to train oneself for financial prosperity. First it is necessary to take a look at your current beliefs concerning money. Did you grow up with the belief that money was hard to come by, and it was necessary to work hard for it; how about the belief that there’s never enough money for anything fun? I heard over and over again that ‘“money doesn’t grow on trees.”’

But, what if you could learn to attract money  and financial prosperity to you? What if it was as simple as believing that and knowing it in your heart?. It takes a change of the mind or a change in your deep beliefs – the ones that are embedded in your subconscious mind.

When I hold my hand out for my cat, she comes to me for love and attention. She knows I am going to pet her and love her. If I were mean to her, she would run away. The same thing goes for money.

It is your attitude toward money that makes the difference. When you hold your hand out for money, you know it’s going to come; because, you love money and the opportunities and  freedom money offers. You know within your heart of hearts that money is always there.

When you squeeze money and feel stressed out about your lack of money, money doesn’t like to come to you because the connection between money and yourself is not gentle. It is tight and cramped. In this case, it is always best to start saying thank you for what you do have instead of focusing on what you don’t.  Do this until you feel in your heart that you are taken care of and ok.

Thank you for reading part 3, part 4 will be coming soon.

As always – to your prosperity,

Part 2 of Prosperity

Welcome back, this is part 2 of Prosperity. There is so much that can be written on this subject so I really worked on this for quite a while to evoke the message across. take what serves you and leave the rest.

Part 2 :

There was a time in my life when absolute financial ruin was to be my way of life. I was college educated, without any decent job or prospects of finding a job, no matter how hard I looked. I was virtually penniless after practically being forced to move and thereby leaving behind a booming independent tutoring business.

The reason for my move was a relationship that was let’s just say absolutely horrible. It was ultimately for the best that I left, even if faced with the dire seemingly financial ruin heaped upon me by my involvement with this man. Bankruptcy was an option which I eventually undertook, and I must say now it would have been better for me to have pursued it two years earlier.

Needless to say, I did not feel the energy of prosperity. I was renting a room from my best friend’s family but was very depressed and feeling sorry for myself. It was not until I started along the journey of intentionally and consciously creating what it is that I desire that I was able to move out into a one bedroom apartment all of my own. It was great to have my own place.

Things had definitely improved for me by then, but still I felt far from prosperous. I went ahead and filed bankruptcy, and I was working another job that I considered to be embarrassing for a college graduate. Things went on like this for awhile, until I started giving thanks for what I did have in my life- even the small things like a new Christmas ornament or a used end table that my mother had found.

What I could have done that would have catapulted my sense of prosperity was focus on the fact that the last three jobs I undertook, outside of the abandoned tutoring business was because I was curious. All three were low paying with only one having the potential to have more financial opportunities than the others, but I took them not only because I couldn’t find anything else without earning a Master’s Degree, but because I was curious.

Here it was, I noticed certain attributes about each job, involving certain skills that I wanted to explore and learn. One involved the art of negotiating, another involved working with animals, and the third offered an opportunity to watch a female entrepreneur and her business. She had class, finesse with customers and even jumped in to save the day many times and handle the demands of a seamstress when her own was not able to handle the work load on time.

I loved watching her work. She was great. I learned much from her and was very inspired by her life. For me, these jobs were opportunities to learn about life. I did not have a child, only pets and so could afford the opportunity to explore the world. Had I focused on these wonderful blessings, I would have attracted much more prosperity and opportunity to me earlier in life.

Thank you for reading, Part 3 will be up tomorrow. I look forward to your comments.
Namaste,

Introduction to Prosperity

Hi, this is an introduction to Financial Prosperity. There is much more to prosperity than just money, but money certainly accounts for a huge portion of humanity’s concerns. Read, take in what makes sense and leave an open mind for what doesn’t gel or sit tight with you. Who knows, it may end up making sense later in down the line, and you’ll remember reading about it here first.

Prosperity is more than a term reserved by the wealthy. It is even more than a state of being. It is an energy, an actual power or force than can be courted and successfully attracted or repelled.

To begin with, allow me to pose the following series of questions:

  1. Do you feel prosperous right now?
  2. If not, when was the last time you felt that magnificent feeling of prosperity?
  3. If so, when and how often do you maintain the feeling of prosperity?

Is it when you shop at a more upscale location? Is it when your house is clean and looking its best?

All of these questions not only serve the purpose of heightening your awareness of prosperous thoughts but reveals a secret. The energy of prosperity can be attracted or repelled by the way we feel in certain situations.

Look for part 2 coming tomorrow.

As always,  to your prosperity,

Tonya
