Simple Quick Spiritual Tidbits for Helping Anything

1) The Life Force of the universe, otherwise known as God, lives within your Heart and surrounds you and everything in this world.

2) If this is true and accepted, then that means that not only does God live in our Hearts but we live inside God.

3) If  this is accepted, then that means that we are a part of God and :

4) If we are a part of God , we can never be separate from God. However, we can be completely unaware of our connection and live under the misinformation of being separate.

5)If we are a part of God, then obviously we have Inherent Self Worth, no matter what. It also means that we have Inherent Divine Health, Abundance, Prosperity,  Peace, Love, Harmony -  or all characteristics of God.

Think about this, truly ponder this. Accept it because it makes sense to you, not because I told you so. If it doesn’t make sense or doesn’t resonate with you, that’s fine too. Take what does seem to speak to you and leave the rest.

My wife Denise has taught me a lot about love.

We married in June 2008 after dating for five years. I’ve always been slow.

One year later, there’s nothing slow about our lives. My business — helping others find and share their voices — has quadrupled. We’ve moved to Portland. Denise has left her old job and is opening a new business herself. I became an uncle. My family lost our beloved father.

It’s been a remarkable year, as trying and exciting and sad and happy as any other of my life.

Through it all, I’ve been blessed to have Denise by my side. She is the kind of woman who makes you feel like the center of the world, like everything is joyous, like it’s all okay, like you are so lucky to be alive.

Denise has taught me a lot about love and I thought I’d share it with you here. Why?

Saint Francis of Assisi said where there is hatred we must sow love. So in a time when our media is fixated on showing the most uncivil and unremarkable people vying for attention for their extreme and marginalizing agendas, I say let’s all light this world with love.

We need it. Our children need it.

With that in mind, here are three keys to cultivating more love in your relationships, which I’ve learned from Denise.

3 Keys to Cultivating Love

– 1. Be More Present –

Jesse Jackson said that the youth of today need our presence, not our presents. I’ve learned the same from Denise about anyone we love. Being present means being in the moment with your loved ones, not distracted by to-dos, TVs or passing thoughts.

I’ve learned that giving full attention to the moment and the one you’re with is the fastest way to ignite spontaneity, understanding, and attraction in a relationship.

To be present:

1. Focus your entire being on on your loved one,
2. Open yourself to their experience without judgment,
3. Exude appreciation and vibrancy, and
4. Don’t let distraction break the connection.

– 2. Be More Patient –

Patience is the only path to understanding, even if it’s a more meandering path than we often wish it to be.

Almost all conflict arises out of stress, and stress most often arises from hurry. “Hurry less, listen more” is great advice for curing conflict and building depth in relationships.

Being patient enough to hear (and understand) someone’s viewpoint and feedback is a lost art.

Next time you’re with your loved one, show patience by:

1. Being fully present and not interrupting their statements.
2. Asking more questions.
2. Waiting longer after they speak to share your own perspective.
3. Asking yourself, “Does this person, who I love deeply, feel heard and appreciated in this moment?”

– 3. Be More Purposeful –

Most people barrel through their relationships haphazardly – without much intention given to creating a remarkable relationship.

Denise has taught me to focus on our relationship and think about building it as much as I do my business or any other area of our lives. She clearly takes the time to think about our relationship and how to make it, us, great.

Creating great relationships and cultivating real love starts with deciding to do so. That’s what I mean by being purposeful.

These days I often find myself thinking, “How can I bring even more joy and adoration to my loved ones?” I’m quite sure this question is inspired by my wife asking herself the same question.

At the end of our lives, we will readily remember what kind of relationships we created.

Did we live and love purposefully to create vibrant, joyous, and deeply caring and connected relationships?

Or did we forget to consistently find and exude love in all our busyness?

I hope these quick lessons — be more present, patient and purposeful — serve you in cultivating loving, legendary relationships.

Prophecies the Ancient order of the “Chilam-Balam”

One day I was talking with my teacher Don Vicente Martin about the Maya Prophecies and I asked him, “What about the Maya Prophecies?” He responded to me, “Miguel, a prophecy is a warning to awake.” Our Ancestors, the Mayas, wrote about the future of Humankind thinking that these Prophecies would never happen because Humankind would awaken and raise its consciousness to the level that would avoid any kind of natural catastrophe.

Don Vicente insisted to me, “Miguel Angel, we are able to change the course of the Prophecies in a positive way and then, in a wonderful way, awaken another level of consciousness in our Planet.

Don Vicente told me that close to the year 2012; there will be many people interested in giving Humankind the negative side of the Maya Prophecies and because of that we will need to be able to see the real truth behind the media, books, writings, movies, and so on.

Now, we are in those days when many people are talking about 2012: and some of them don’t see the positive side of the Prophecies because they are looking only at the surface of the Prophecies and not at the deeper meaning of the Prophecies.

To describe the Prophecies the Ancient order of the “Chilam-Balam” (Jaguar-Prophets) used a special language called “ZUYYA-THAN” (pristine language) or the “AKAB-DZIB-MAYAB-THAN” language (hidden wisdom writings).

As an example, as we sat on the Jaguar Throne at the top of the K’u-Kuul-Kaan pyramid in Chichen Itza, he told me one of the Oral Tradition Maya Prophecies:

“The ancient ones said that the Maya Lands are the home of the bird called “T’HO”, a bird with beautiful blue feathers, and these birds are our Grandfathers and they are waiting for the Goddess to come back again” (Waiting for the Awakening of the Sacred Feminine).

The Goddess will bring again the Solar-Knowledge to Humankind; and allow them to fly out of their caves. (It means that Human Beings will fly again in spirit out of their bodies (their caves) applying the Solar-Wisdom in order to once again reach the Stars.

Now, it is the time to fly out of our own limitations and to see and to experience in our spirit and the spirit of one “Whose Name is Whispered in a Breath” the amazing gift we have to change anything in a positive and creative manifestation of Love and Life.

Now, it is the moment to manifest again the Maya within (“to be a chosen one”) because you have the Science (the intellect) and the Spirit (in your Heart) to fulfill the great responsibility facing 2012: to guide Humankind again, through our actions and words, to the balance and harmony that the ancient ones; Hunab-Ku, Itzamana, IxCheel, and K’u-Kuul-Kaan, desired for us.

Update! Are you Divinely Touched?

I am thrilled to say that I am writing a new book entitled Divinely Touched. I received some less than enthusiastic responses about my new article on Spiritual Power. I was told that it was too confusing, so I went back to the drawing board, and wow! What I was able to come up with is absolutely fantastic. I am already about a third of the way finished. It is fantastic.

 Included is an awesome way to communicate with God. It is such a simple method of Communicating that anyone can do it, even if you are not a Monk, living in complete isolation. It is simple, and easy. The best news is is that God is always there communicating with you. It’s amazing!

2012 Confusion?

Gregg Braden : Fractal Time 

Is there any thing that We can do to prepare for 2012 or even Second Coming of Christ?

There is a lot of information on the upcoming December 21, 2012 winter solstice. Many are predicting doom and gloom while others are saying that it is a time for change and a brand new harmonious world.  Others still are going around spreading the news about upcoming armageddon and the return of Christ. Gregg  Braden, in his books even offers the possible explanation that both are  possible scenarios that may exist at the same time.

Well , what is the truth? What seems to be the likely story of truth? Should we all just start living in a cave deep in the side of a mountain so we hopefully avoid any possible catastrophic geological shifts?

Well, first I can’t possibly tell you what to believe as much of it is highly religious in nature or at least very spiritualist. Even if for someone that is not the case surely it has been noticed  that there are a lot tragic stories in the world today. Not to mention the ‘S’ word; Stress, which is also at an astronomical level. All of this coupled with fear adds to the palpable tension of doom and gloom and impending war.

Secondly, I personally am not going to hang out with spiders and snakes to avoid a possible Tsunami or rain of fire. What then, am I going to do?

Meditate, pray and smile. In other words keep my vibrations and spirits up. Do I know for sure what is coming up? No, but I can control the way I handle the normal day to day things that come in my life including the flooding of my home city this past week in Atlanta, Georgia. Rain was coming down everywhere, I have never seen so much rain. For days, about two weeks it rained hard. the last two days were different. The rain was absolutely crashing non stop to the point where it seemed a bit unnatural if you know what I mean. Water seeped under the window casings to pool into a large puddle in the middle of the lobby at the massage clinic where I work in Kennesaw, Georgia. The parking lot was covered in large patched of ankle deep water and the rain kept coming. There was talk of schools closing so I called my husband to pick up or son. Through all of this deluge, and yes it rained and stormed all around me, I was at peace. I did not once think that there was any danger, and for me there wasn’t. We live near two small lakes and there was no flooding even though just about a mile or two away the flooding was an issue. Was I just lucky or did I do something different from others? If I did do somethin different from others did it create a miracle in my life or spare me from a very unpleasant experience? That I have no direct proof on and will remain a mystery, but as for the former I did do something  that at the very least changed the way I saw the events unfolding around me where I live, work and take my son to school. 

What did I do differently from others that lived just a few miles from my point and certainly no further to the lakes than I did? I prayed and meditated specific types of prayers with high emotional charges. Normally when people pray it is a matter of just reciting a prayer learned by rote memory or just reading something out of a book, without feeling. In order to heighten your awareness of your connection with God or whatever you call the Supreme Creator of the Universe, feeling is necessary. Emotions are supreme transmitters and connectors to whatever it is that your are visualizing. So no matter what is foretold is going to transpire in 2012, I am going to emotionally meditate and pray. This is getting to be a bit long so I am going to break up the information and trust me it is a powerhouse. There is more to come on this subject so stay tuned.
